Summer

This was probably the quickest summer of my life. Here's what happened this summer: I got married. Although it was an awesome event and one of the more important events in my life, this was all I accomplished this summer. I got married and went home. I did all of the things that I was supposed to do after getting married too. I changed my name, address, switched insurance, moved into a new place... sounds exciting right? Don't get me wrong, I completely-absolutely-extremely do not regret marrying my hubby. What I regret is wasting my summer sitting on the couch and doing nothing productive ever since. That is all I did this summer. I woke up and made my way to the couch where I turned on my computer and wasted countless hours on facebook, looking at everyone's pictures from their happy summer. With my bum glued to the couch I waited for the hubby to finish his daily duties from the 5 million jobs that he has so I could cook him some dinner and then fall asleep to a movie. And then... I got sick. Sick from the boredom, and this is not just an expression. I was literally sick for almost 2 months. headaches, tense neck, bronchitis, and any other thing that could go wrong with my body, it all went wrong. I was stressed from my inability to get up and do something with my life. I wasn't spending as much time with my hubby becuase he has been busy with his gajillion jobs so I resorted to wasting away on the couch with the 2 laziest bums I know, my dogs. Now school is just around the corner. Where did the summer go? Where was the fun? I had in mind that this would be an awesome summer. I'm just getting married, I don't have a job, I'm living on my own etc. It was a surfire plan for awesomess. I would stay home and have the best summer as a newlywed with my husband. Well, I didn't have a job, but he did. 3 of them. 10 hours here, 10 hours there, and random hours at that one random place with the russian lady. Oh and some hours practicing, and a few more for thinking, and some more just to keep busy. lovely. Living on my own means I have to clean. bleh. And pay bills. bleh bleh. So the happy bride got on the computer becuase she had nothing else to do but wait for the groom to come home...

I can't wait to start school in a few weeks. Productivity... yessssss. Now I just need to get of of the couch and make the best of my last weeks of summer. This year is going to be rough on me. I've taken my break, now its time to get serious.

Actual artwork will come once I decide to move.
