Sit Stand

So our next project in Computer Animation is the Sit Stand. A character has to sit down, have a change of emotion, and get up and leave. We've been working on the conceptual part of this throughout the semester but now we are actually starting to dive into it.

These are the character designs I started out with. I'm going with the Guy on the left. The story is this kid has been sent to the principal's office. he walks in angrily, and plops down in the waiting chair next to the office. He looks around and notices the fire alarm. he gets a mischievous idea and he pulls the fire alarm. He then walks away content because he just got out of going to the office.

Robie the robotic banker

our latest project in computer animation. we had to model this classic radio shack coin bank called Robie. This is similar to the penguin project(which i didn't post on here because its bad...) but instead of being polygon based its nurbs based. that's just different types of stuff to make things in. animatable stuff like characters would be modeled in polygons and sets and backgrounds would be modeled in nurbs. well, here it is :) i think it turned out pretty good considering the amount of time i actually spent on it.

CA-Quadfecta

My latest assignment in computer animation. We used a character that was already modeled and rigged and made it point, walk, turn and take. This is what we have been working since the semester started along with creating ideas and characters for another assignment, our sit stand. I'll post up my designs and story for the sit/stand once I finish them. This semester has been pretty busy even thought I have been told that this s the easier semester. It feels just as hard, bu maybe that is because I am taking 18 credit hours...
